Sophie and Sunshine

The weather this year has been such a joy for us Northerners who love the warm weather! We had a mild winter, and now it's March and we have 70 degree weather! Sophie loves being outside too. She likes chewing on sticks, playing with the ball, and LOVES the slide. She points at it, and gets really excited when we start heading toward it. And then she has a huge smile when we take her down. She tries to crawl back up the slide then too, but isn't quite successful at that yet.

We're so happy to be able to get out of our apartment and go outside! We can see and talk to so many people outside. Today she decided to take after me (Alisha). My parents have this picture of me when I was little with my mouth covered in mud- apparently, I decided it tasted good. Well, today I looked over at Sophie who had crawled away and was sitting in dirt, and she was eating the dirt- yum yum!
We have a busy week next week, so hopefully with all of the warm sunshine we can stay focused on getting our homework done!
